It has literally been MONTHS since I’ve posted anything and as much as I’ve missed it, it’s been a nice hiatus. Life has done a 180 for me which put photography on a back, back, back burner but now I’m back with a post just in time for Halloween! Two weeks ago, Justin, his mom and sister, Anna, and I trucked it out to the country to a pumpkin patch a few people had told me about. It was gray, rainy, and just plain gross out which made my heart sink a bit on our way there. Thankfully though the rain let up just as we pulled into the farm and held off the whole time we were there!
Anyone who knows me knows just how much I love fall, pumpkins, and changing leaves. Having grown up in south Florida, we never really had seasons, palm trees didn’t change colors, and pumpkins didn’t seem as appealing in 90 degree weather. Living in Georgia has finally given me the opportunity to soak in my favorite time of year and the fun that goes along with it. Between feeding the goats and calves, riding the hay ride, and picking out my very own monster pumpkin, I would say this Halloween season has been the best one yet!
How do you like to spend this time of year? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
