A few weeks ago was the annual Atlanta Greek Festival at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation. It’s a four day weekend event filled with music, great food, and of course, Greek dancing. You can find out more details on their website here or their Facebook page here. I have been to a few festivals in my day, and even with the first nights being “slow”, I had a blast! After about 6 years of not dancing with a group, it felt amazing to get back into the swing of things. I managed to get a few photos of the younger groups before the sun went down and we were up to dance. The lovely Mrs. Susan was kind enough to snap a few of the adult group while we were dancing for me though.
I managed to snap a bunch more on Sunday evening (including part of a wedding!) but that’s for another post! Make sure to follow the BLOG by filling in the box to the right to be informed of when the others go live!
